Forest
A forest is known as an intricate ecosystem that is densely covered with trees, shrubs, grasses and mosses. The trees and other plants that form a part of the forests create an environment that is healthy for the breeding several species of animals. These are thus a habitat for a large variety of wild animals and birds. Different types of forests grow in different parts of the world. These are mainly divided into three categories – Rain Forests, Coniferous Forests and Deciduous Forests. Forests form an important part of the ecological system mainly because they aids majorly in biodiversity. A large number of birds and animals survive only because of the presence of forests. However, unfortunately forests are being cut at a rapid speed to serve various purposes.
